Quibi is an exciting new twist to streaming services and is available for both Android and iOS devices. What makes Quibi different from other streaming services, and thus reaching its fame in just a short time, is its quick and manageable consumption of shows and series.

How Does Quibi Works?

Most streaming services offer original shows and popular movies but at longer minutes or hours. Quibi gives its users a short-form platform that tells a story in just ten minutes or less. They also feature longer stories but are broken down to every ten minutes per episode.

A lot of users are enjoying the novelty of Quibi on their phones but many want to experience the shows on a larger screen. Unfortunately, you cannot watch or cast Quibi on TV.

The platform is not designed for streaming on a large screen such as any TV. It is not compatible with any Android TV or Apple TV. Quibi does not support mirroring its content on other platforms like Roku, Chromecast and Amazon Fire Stick.

While it may be frustrating not having to watch the shows on your TV, look at the bright side and treat it as a new streaming experience that you can take anywhere, or for this case, any corner of your home.

UPDATE: Quibi has just made an announcement as it hit 1.7 million downloads on its first week. Along with it, Quibi said that they are working on a TV mirroring feature which they are launching as soon as possible. This development is due to the growing user complaints about the lack of such feature. Quibi relented despite its strong stance that the streaming service is strictly for mobile use only.
