Watching shows and movies on Hulu makes it easier for you to keep up with the trend. There are new movies that people talked about and you wanted to relate as well.
However, some locations do not have a reliable network connection, hence keeping you away from streaming on Hulu. The solution is to download movies or shows, so you can watch them offline. It works best if you are traveling somewhere.
Hulu Download Limits for Offline Content
Keep in mind that not all movies or shows are available for download. Check if the title you wish to watch offline has the download icon or not. After you have downloaded a show, you have 2 days to watch it before it expires. If you still have not watched it, you have up to 30 days before it expires. You will then need to renew the download if you want to watch it again.
Also, there are only selected devices where you can download content from Hulu. For Amazon, it should be Fire OS 5 or higher. Android devices need to be 5.0 or newer and Apple devices must be iOS 12 or iPadOS 12 or newer.
How to Download Hulu Movies and Shows Offline
Make sure you have a good Internet connection when you download your shows or movies. You may also use your cellular data.
- On your Hulu home screen, look for the title that you want to download.
- If you do not want to do a trial run if the title is downloadable or not, you can click the Search icon and type Downloadable. It will show all the shows or movies that you can download.
- Next to the title, click the Download button or the circle with a down arrow.
- It will start the download process.
How to Watch Hulu Movies and Shows Offline
- To start watching downloaded movies or shows, look for the Downloads section in your Hulu main screen.
- Scroll the list and look for the title that you want to watch.
- Click Play.
How to Renew Expired Downloads
- Go to Downloads and you will see the Alert icon next to the expired title.
- Click on the icon and select Renew Download.
- To delete the movie or show instead, click Edit and select the Trash icon to delete the download.
