- Tap the menu icon found on the top left corner.
- Go to the Settings menu.

- On your Roku TV or streaming player, open the Paramount Plus app.
- Login to your account.

I COULD NOT TURN ON THE CLOSED CAPTIONS EITHER UNTIL I FOUND THE ICON AT THE TOP RIGHT OF THE PICTURE AND CLICKED ON IT. THE CAPTIONS SHOWED “OFF” WITH A BLUE CHECK MARK NEXT TO IT. WHEN I CLICKED ON THE “OFF” NOTHING HAPPENED TO CHANGE IT TO ON. WHEN I CLICKED ON THE WORD “ENGLISH UNDERNEATH THE CAPTION ‘OFF” AND DID NOTHING ELSE, THE CLOSED CAPTIONS FINALLY APPEARED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PICTURE. HOPE THIS HELPS.

I have the opposite problem! I watch TV shows and every episode I have to turn the CC off. It’s annoying! I’m using an iPad and have tried every setting both in the app and on my device. I would like it to be permanently off. Anyone know how to do this?

How do I turn on closed captioning on Paramount plus when I have Comcast service?
When on Paramount + and I go to the top right to set closed caption I only have an audio selection we need the words badly my husband is hearing impaired
How do you turn off the audio caption. A voice is narating the show. It must be for the visually impaired.

Sometimes if you “rewind” the show (on my iPad, it’s a round arrow and takes it back 10 seconds), it will align. Good luck!
I’d like to turn them off permanently on the mobile app instead of having to turn them off on ECERY SHOW I WATCH! It is beyond irritating. There is no spot on the apple device in the setting to turn them off or on. It’s on every show you attempt to watch. I understand the need for them but not everyone needs them. I can turn it off on my TV’s but I cannot turn it off on my mobile device. Paramount Plus is the only app I watch that is doing that.
I have the same problem! Only on my iPad, I can turn it off but on every episode it gets annoying! I’d like to permanently turn it off but can’t figure it out.
