Good news to all Disney fans residing in Singapore! One of the biggest streaming services today is coming to your doorsteps in just a few days. Now, you can enjoy watching some of the best series and films that are only seen in the US and other parts of Europe.

Disney is launching Disney Plus in Singapore on February 23, 2021, the first Asia. This time, Disney will launch content from six of its brands: Disney, Pixar, National Geographic, Star Wars, Marvel, and the new Star Entertainment. The newcomer, Star Entertainment will soon be coming to different locations in the US and outside of the country. It will appear by default on Disney+ Singapore.

Movies and TV Shows Coming to Disney Plus Singapore at Launch

Disney will feature more than 650 films and 15,000 episodes on Disney+ Singapore. It will stream titles from Star Entertainment, which is joining Disney Plus as a replacement for Hulu. Disney+ users can still watch some of Hulu’s content through the Star Entertainment hub.

Disney Plus Singapore users will enjoy binge-watching original Disney content, as well as classic and well-loved movies and TV series. You can also stream special episodes and up-and-coming films. Check out below some of the titles you can see when you subscribe to Disney+ Singapore.

Disney Titles

Let’s start with the iconic brand: Disney. You can rerun classic animated films as well as its live-action like The Lion King, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast. Rewatch movies like Frozen 2 and Mulan.

Pixar Movies and Shows

If you love Pixar films, you will enjoy rewatching Toy Story 4, Finding Dory, and The Incredibles 2. You can also check out Soul, Onward, and the short film collection called Pixar Popcorn.

Marvel MCU Content

Marvel fans will enjoy the new WandaVision series from Marvel Studios and Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). You can also watch out for new TV Shows like Loki, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, Ms. Marvel, and Moon Knight. On March 19, you can look forward to The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Star Wars Titles

There will be two seasons of The Mandalorian series, not to mention the upcoming third season. If you love the spin-off of The Mandalorian, don’t miss The Book of Boba Fest, Ahsoka, and Rangers of the New Republic. There will be other shows like The Acolyte and Lando Calrissian TV Shows. Of course, all 12 Star Wars movies will be available for your binge-watching weekend.

National Geographic Shows

For National Geographic, you can rewatch Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted and The World According to Jeff Goldblum.

Star Entertainment Content

Series available are Family Guy, Grey’s Anatomy, 9-1-1, The X-Files, Lost, and How I Met Your Mother. There are movies like Braveheart, Deadpool 2, The Devil Wears Prada, and Commando.

Disney+ Singapore Subscription Price and Release Date

Singaporeans can subscribe and get a Disney Plus streaming account for SG$11.98 per month or SG$119.98 per year. Choosing a 1-year subscription will give you a huge discount, which amounts to about two months’ worth of subscription.

The streaming platform will go live locally on February 23, 2021.

Head over to the official site for Disney Plus in Singapore at https://www.preview.disneyplus.com/sg/. To sign up, click on the big blue “Keep Me Posted” button and enter your details. You can also start downloading and installing the Disney Plus app on Android phones or iPhones in preparation for the launch day. And, you can sign up with your email from the app as well.
