If you experience this issue when using Bixby on your Samsung smartphone, tablet or smartwatch, follow the troubleshooting methods below to help you fix the problem.

Method #1 – Make Sure the Voice Wake-Up is Turned On

  1. If you are using your Samsung smartphone, go to your phone Settings.
  2. Look for Apps and select Bixby.
  3. Click Permissions and enable all permissions.

Samsung Smartwatch

  1. If you are using a Samsung smartwatch, press the Power button.
  2. Swipe the screen and look for Bixby. Tap to open.
  3. Tap More options.
  4. Now, tap the Voice wake-up.
  5. Turn it on.

Method #2 – Clear the Bixby App Cache

It may be an issue with corrupted files that may be causing the issue. To clear all the cache in your Bixby app, make sure you clear the cache under the Bixby Home, Bixby Voice, Bixby Service, and Bixby Vision.

  1. Open your phone’s Settings.
  2. Click Applications.
  3. Click Bixby Home.
  4. Select Storage.
  5. Click Clear Cache.
  6. Once done, do the same with Bixby Voice, Bixby Service, and Bixby Vision.

Method #3 – Give Bixby Permission

  1. If you are using a Samsung smartwatch, press the Power button.
  2. Navigate to Settings.
  3. Tap Apps and select Permissions.
  4. Now, look for Bixby and tap the switch next to it.

Samsung Mobile Phone

  1. To reset Bixby using your Samsung smartphone, go to the Settings, and select Applications.
  2. Look for Bixby Voice and go to Storage.
  3. This time, click Clear data to reset the app.

Samsung Smartwatch

  1. For smartwatches, press the Power button and go to Bixby.
  2. Tap the More options and select Reset Bixby.
  3. Confirm the action by tapping the checkmark.

Method #5 – Install the Latest Update for Bixby App

  1. there isnt a more options to do a reset !!! this is rubbish pay all that cash for a smart watch that cant do voice sick of trolling through the net looking for a fix now !!!
