What is Netflix Error Code 10023-10008

The Netflix Error Code 10023-10008 shows the error message,

“There was a problem with this download. Please check your network connection and try again. (10023-10008)”

It is related to issues due to network connectivity problems when downloading content from the Netflix app on iOS devices such as iPad and iPhone.

What is Netflix Error Code 10023-997

The Netflix Error Code 10023-997 is also a download issue, where you are stuck on a download process and cannot proceed. Most likely, this error is also caused by network connectivity issues.

What is Netflix Error Code 10023-1200

If you see the Netflix Error Code 10023-1200, you will see this error message,

“There was a problem with this download. Please check your network connection and try again. (10023-1200)”

It tells you that there are information or data in your device that needs to be refreshed. Basically, it’s a Netflix cache issue on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch iOS device.

How to Fix Netflix Error Code 10023-10008, 10023-997 and 10023-1200 on iOS

Solution #1 – Power Cycle Your Device

Power cycling your device helps refresh your network connection as well as delete temporary corrupted files that may contribute to the Netflix error.

  1. Turn off your device and unplug your modem and router.
  2. Wait for at least 1 minute before plugging the modem and router back in.
  3. Once both devices are fully connected, turn on your device and launch Netflix. Check if the error still exists.

Solution #2 – Try a Different Network Connection

Your network may not have a strong connection to connect to Netflix. If you are using a cellular data connection, try switching to your WiFi connection. Make sure also that you don’t have limited bandwidth or not using a public connection to stream movies and shows on Netflix.

Solution #3 – Check the Date and Time on Your Device

One of the causes of the error when streaming Netflix is when you have different date and time on your device. Make sure your device is set with the current date and time settings.

  1. On your iOS device Home screen, tap the Settings icon.
  2. Go to General and select Date and Time.
  3. Now, change the date and time settings to match your current location.
  4. You can also enable the Set Automatically.
