Not everyone likes to show themselves on a video call. Sometimes, we may not be on our best selves but cannot avoid a Zoom video meeting. If you want to stay online but not show yourself, you can set a profile picture during a Zoom videoconference instead. It works well in instances where you are only a participant in a big video conference, and it does not make a difference whether you turn on your camera or not.

Zoom’s profile picture replaces the default image on a video call whenever you turn off your web camera. That way, it can better represent you even when you are not showing yourself.
