Method #1 – Power Cycle Your Samsung Smart TV and Router

A quick restart will help refresh your connection and delete temporary files that may be causing the problem.

  1. Turn off your Samsung smart TV.
  2. Unplug your TV, router, and modem.
  3. Wait for at least 1 minute.
  4. Now, plug in your router and modem.
  5. Once connected to the Internet, plug your TV back in.
  6. Turn the TV on and relaunch YouTube.

Method #2 – Relaunch the YouTube App

  1. Open the YouTube app on your Samsung smart TV.
  2. On your remote, press and hold the back arrow.
  3. When you are back to the Smart HUB, relaunch the YouTube app.

Method #3 – Update the YouTube App

  1. On your remote, press the Smart HUB button.
  2. Go to Features.
  3. Look for the YouTube app. On your remote, press and hold the Enter button. A sub-menu will appear.
  4. Look for Update apps and select the option.
  5. Click Select All.
  6. Click the Update All button.
  7. After the installation, restart your smart TV.

Method #4 – Reinstall the YouTube App

If none of the methods above work, try reinstalling the app on your Samsung TV.

  1. On your Smart HUB, go to Apps.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Look for the YouTube app and click to open it.
  4. Select Reinstall.
  5. Once done, check if the error is still there.

  1. Thai won’t work if YouTube TV is native. You can’t uninstall. FIX – get a Fire Stick. The 4K version is $39. You can run everything off it. Not one problem since. I was ready to buy a new tv.
