Sending chat messages online is easy and fast, much like sending a text message on your phone. Your recipients can receive it in real-time and can send back their responses immediately. The only drawback is when you lost your Internet connection and could no longer send your messages.

It sometimes happens when you have important things to send to someone. Then, you are outside without any network connection. In some cases, you may have an unreliable WiFi Internet.

Waiting to have a network connection will only make you forget the things you need to say. It will not be efficient for you. Microsoft Teams will soon launch a solution for sending offline messages. Even when you are not connected to any network, you can queue your messages and send them as soon as you are back online.

That means you don’t have to check your connection to see if you can now send your message. Just let it queue on the chat message. It will be automatically delivered even when you are unaware of the restored Internet connection.

Microsoft Teams makes it easier for its users to send important messages to team members even when they are offline. It also allows them to go back to their other tasks and not linger on checking if they can send the message already.

So, how do you send and queue messages on Microsoft Teams app while offline? As of now, the added feature on Microsoft Teams is still in development. However, Microsoft Teams is hoping to release it in February 2021.

Once the feature is up, access the chat message of your desired recipient on Microsoft Teams. Type your message, enter and hit Send. It will be placed in a queue until you reestablished your Internet connection.

According to Microsoft, the message will be unsent and on queue within 24 hours. After 24 hours, it will be tagged as failed. You will receive a prompt asking you to either resend or delete it.
