Zoom is widely used around the world as a video conferencing platform. With its simple and easy-to-use interface, many users enjoy Zoom when hosting online team meetings and family or friends’ gatherings.

There is a lot to look forward to on Zoom. You can set the different themes on your sidebar. Users can also set up various virtual backgrounds to make their meetings more enjoyable and interesting. The Waiting Room feature enables hosts to admit participants one at a time to make sure everyone coming in is part of the meeting.

You can also use the Touch-up My Appearance, so you always look good on your Zoom conference calls. There is also the Multi-Share tool where you can share your screen during your video meeting. If you want to save your Zoom meeting, you can record it so you can play the video at anytime.

Now, Zoom has a feature that will notify you if there is someone who enters or leaves the meeting you are hosting. Zoom has an Audio notification that sounds like a real doorbell. When someone joins or leaves the meeting, it will make a ding dong sound effect to let you know.

For some users, it is helpful if you are not on your screen all the time while waiting for participants to come in. However, others find it annoying to hear the audio alerts and notifications sound always. Now, you can change the notification settings to mute the Zoom audio alerts and turn it on or off at anytime.

Imagine hearing the ding dong or chime sound ten times if you have ten participants joining or leaving your meeting. There will be more of the alerting sound if you have more people coming in. You will be redirected to the Zoom web app to complete and save your settings.
