Many users attest to the credibility of Chrome OS as a reliable platform for modern computing. Hence, a lot of users choose to use Chromebooks for their personal or even work-related computer use. Google continues to enhance the features on Chromebooks, and one of the excellent function available is Guest Browsing.
What is Guest Browsing on Chromebooks?

Securing your data is crucial at any cost. We may feel secured when we are using our Chromebook at home. But, what happens when you are on the move and have to work somewhere? Will you feel confident to step away from your laptop for a while without any prying hands to manipulate it?
Guest Browsing mode enables users to add a layer of protection when they are using their Chromebook. When you enabled Guest Browsing, it switches to Guest Mode that does not retain any information about you. Whenever someone tries to log in or use your computer, you can be assured that none of your personal information will be seen.
If you are using your laptop with a public network, it will not save your data. It also keeps things private when you are borrowing a Chromebook or lending one.
How Does Guest Browsing Mode Work?
First, you have to enable Guest Browsing. When you have enabled the feature, you can browse your Chromebook just like you normally would. The only difference is that it does not retain anything, so you can log off with ease. It does not save your bookmarks or even syncs any of your accounts, which makes it different from using the Incognito browser.
