It is easy to love streaming on Disney Plus, especially with its collection of classic Disney movies, childhood series, and blockbuster hits. But, Disney+ has its share of streaming errors. Examples of these Disney Plus streaming errors are error codes 38, 12, and 90.

What is Disney Plus Error Code 38

Disney Plus error code 38 is a streaming playback error. You will receive this message:

“We’re sorry, but we cannot sync the video you requested to your time settings. Double check the time settings on your clock and try again. If the problem persists, visit the Disney+ Help Center (Error Code 38).

It means that there is a problem with your time and date settings. The Disney+ app cannot sync the video due to the error in your time settings.

What is Disney Plus Error Code 12

Users will see this error message, “Something went wrong. Please try again. If the problem persists, visit the Disney+ Help Center (Error Code 12).

What is Disney Plus Error Code 90

“We are not able to connect with Disney+ at this point. Please try again. If the problem persists, visit the Disney+ Help Center (Error Code 90).” The Disney+ error code 90 means that there is a streaming problem with your device.

Fixing Disney Plus Streaming Error Code 38, 12 or 90

Solution #1 – Relaunch Your Disney+ App

  1. Close your Disney Plus App.
  2. Wait for a few seconds.
  3. Try to launch it again. Now, check if the error still exists.

Solution #2 – Power Cycle Your Device

  1. Turn off your device.
  2. Unplug your modem and router.
  3. Wait for at least 1 minute.
  4. Plug in your modem and connect it to the Internet.
  5. Do the same to your router.
  6. Now, turn on your device and launch your Disney Plus app.

Solution #3 – Set Your Time to Automatic

The error may be due to the incorrect time and date setting on your device. Make sure that you are using the current time. Go to your device’s Clock and set the time to Automatic. You can align it to the world clock time as well.

Solution #4 – Reinstall the App

I continually get error code 90 when trying to access Disney Plus on my Roku 2 device model number #-4210x I troubleshooted my problem from your Disney Plus website: 1- unplug bus router and Wi-Fi 2- uninstall and reinstall Disney Plus 3- my job Roku had the exact time zone and time. 4- did the latest update on Roku box. Or do I need to establish an account with full payment first in order to have access to Disney Plus on my Roku 2 device
